Lincoln Electric & Smith Oxy-Acet Torch Question

Aloha,
Does anyone know if Lincoln Electric bought out Smith? The reason I am asking is because Lincoln's oxy-acet torches look the same as Smith. TIA

I believe miller and smith are the same corporate

The lincoln torch should be the Harris. I believe they are the same parent company. Miller and smith are both owned by the Illinois Tool Works. Smith torches are sold under the miller badge.
