Do I really need a 7.5 hp compressor?

Haven't really had a chance to run it for extended periods just yet, but when it has went through a few cycles there was nothing to report. Nothing out of the auto drain or any drops. The true test will be once I get a blasting cabinet..

Do I really need a 7.5 hp compressor?

I didn't "NEED" it either, but I got it if I do "NEED" it. Plumbed a 3/4" RapidAir loop system while I was at it.

Can you recommend a good headlamp.

I use a Nitecore 18650 powered headlamp. It can start to get warm on the higher settings, but it sure pumps out the lumens.

Do I really need a 7.5 hp compressor?

Good call on the Whisper option. Once you have it hooked up you'll realize the need for a quite room is unnecessary. Aside from filling tires, any air tool you'll be using will drown it out 10 fold.

Do I really need a 7.5 hp compressor?

Ha what a coincidence. I'm looking at that very model. I stopped by their facility the other day (30 min away) to listen to it and all they had was a 10hp model available to hook up. I was blown away how quite it was and how fast it filled up the 80 gal. tank. They said the 7.5hp model is a...

    Ohio Barn Est. 2017/2018

I absolutely love the tube heater! For large open spaces like our shops I think tubes are probably one of the better options out there. Easy to install with two people if you access to a scissor lift. They're efficient, relatively quite, no blowing air (kicking up dust) and heat the objects...

    Another 2 post lift thread.

Atlas PV-10P here. I've had everything from 1-ton diesel dually, Jeep TJs to lowered Civcs on it regularly. Pretty versatile lift.

    My Cul-de-sac Hideaway (36X56X14)

Finally found some good pallet racking for some much needed storage. A local Sears was liquidating everything and I was able to get the pallet racks (12' uprights, 60" deep with heavy duty wire shelving) for only $250!

Best Radiant Tube for 2500sq ft CShop 18' wall

I use a 130K BTU 40' heater for a 2,000 sqft space w/12' walls (vaulted ceilings). It's more than sufficient and I could've easily got by with a 110K BTU unit (same length). Hope that helps.

Need help venting radiant tube heater.

You are correct. The only B-type I have is going through the wall thimble.

Need help venting radiant tube heater.

I'd jog around your attic opening and out the side wall. You'd have a few bends, but that leaves room for expansion movement (and it will). I found a round thimble at Menards that fit in-between the tall ribs with a few minor mods and then siliconed it nice and tight. What I did was cut a...
