I saw a couple on the truck today. 17.5"'long! And my dealer had the buy the 3/8ex long and get the 1/4 ex long free. And if no one else mentioned it I did notice a USA on the handle just like the 1/4 ex long.
I guess I don't get it. As long as that's not bare metal I don't see a problem. I didnt know so had a guarantee that every square inch of box inside and out is powdercoated the same. Having owned both kra and krl's I've noticed how much nicer of a finish the krl's have.
The TLL72 9" 1/4 drive ratchet. I thought it was ridiculous and overkill for such a small ratchet. Then I kept hearing good reviews so I bought one and I love it now! I reach for it often and it has save me a lot of time on occasion being able to couple it with magnetic sockets and sneak into...
I stopped in at the northern tool in Rogers minnesota today and they had three Wilton vices on clearance for half price. 4",6",8" shop vices brand new. I'm not sure if other northerns will have them but possibly they could ship it if your not local. If you are from the twin cities area go get a...
The Pwz1 wrench is sweet. Map gas torch,pb blaster, vice grip. for the rear camber/toe bolts I use either long zero offset wrenches or 24" breaker bar and snapons longest 1/2 flex head ratchet which is longer than there breaker bar;)
And a good long adjustable wrench that has a rubber handle.
That box is deep. I use to have a 722 and just upgraded to a 1022 and the difference in cu in of space is crazy. Now lots of other toolboxes just look tiny:D
Thats a fairly new box with the two full length top drawers. Crazy good deal, for that price I would never think of trying to talk him down.
I'll use it on my m54 engine from 02 325xi. with the dual vanos camgears I figured I better just buy the tool and know I got the timing right the first time.
From tooltopia I got these cool connectors for fuse boxes, no more jamming leads into fuseboxes! And a 22/22.5mm flip socket for those frustrating swelled Chrysler lug nuts. And a 16mm tamper proof xzn socket for German drain plugs.
From eBay I got a BMW timing tool for my new car project I've...
This is my streamlight stinger for home use. It has "the nub" end cap on it. You can lock your pinkey in the large groove and no one can rip it out of your hand. It also works as a club. And the little round metal tip is called the "rib spreader."
I also have a stinger at work with the terralux...
I've owned both the kra and Krl lines and I would recommend Krl. The biggest factor for me was depth of the drawers. I wanted the most amount of tool storage I could buy in 54" and the krl's can come in 29" deep models. I don't think you can buy a kra in anything deeper than 23"
Some of the...
