    Above 1200 Sq/FT Restored 1930's Auto Shop

We sold 10 acers of land, the buyer wanted the corners flagged. We had never been able to find the SW corner as it was buried in the forest. after stomping around for 1/2 an hour we had flagged the 3 easy corners that were on the roads. I pulled out the trust iPhone and fired up google maps...

Above 1200 Sq/FT The Never Ending Retirement Garage/Shop Projects

Over the past couple of days, have been attacking the new driveway into the neighboring property. Thought that the excavator could simply push in the road with it's blade but it this work just seemed to be too hard on the equipment. Using the grading bucket to dig out the sod and a rough grade...

OMG I so wish that my governor would step in! It would have saved me a number of times, but no: apparently I can over rev my mouth with little damage to my hardware. But, my software regrets it for a long time...

    Shop Build in the Wind

Thanks ODIS build status is now at 3000 meaning GM has accepted the order as is and that it can no longer be changed. Should have a TPW (Targeted Production Week) in a couple of weeks from now. Yes we are both excited (well I am and Lisa's putting up with it). :-)

    Shop Build in the Wind

Hey Drives, just busy with life things. Need to get back out to the shop, plenty of time needs to be spent out there. I've got my desk built for the office, just need to drop it in place, apply a finish and cut a couple of cable pass throughs. Finding it difficult to get out there and...

    Shop Build in the Wind

Drives, that's a nice looking bench! I have a doulas fir slab that a friend gave me, it's all cured now; just need to get that moving. CN Spots, thanks for stopping by. Yes it is a monster! Funny thing about that; I bought it sight unseen on a government auction, I was the only bidder and...

Ody, Good to see the 912 getting the love it deserves. Given the weather this week I hope you get some more time in on it. Take good care and enjoy the process; I like many others live vicariously through your well thought out projects. Cheers, David

Thomas, Chris, and GJ followers. Truly 2020 has been a year to challenge the most optimistic amongst us. And I want to let you know that the GJ and in particular the telling of projects and stories at the COTU has helped me cope on some of those sleepless nights. I wish you all an amazing...

    Shop Build in the Wind

Inspired by Thomas, Don, and ODIS i decided to go one further step and took the jack (not an easy task) to Skip who is our local car art and pin-striper. She won't get any chrome work so the project is complete and I'm very happy with the result. Note that Skip variegated the pin striping...
