I have Verizon Fios and I ran coax to my garage I took my router from the house and hooked it up and the set top box and got wifi and television shows. Does anyone know can I just buy a verizon router off ebay and connected it even though I have the one in my house Or suggestions appreciated

Wasnt sure if I could use a third party or what if any configuring needed to be done

Forgive me didnt see anything in the search I have run an ethernet cable to the garage from the FIOS router. How do I get wireless in the garage now? Thanks
