I was surprised at how much difference there was between the original batteries that came with my drill/driver set and the newer XC 5.0 battery. Don't know if it is the age or if those XC batteries really do put out that much more amperage (I suspect a little of both). That got me thinking...

Nope, that is the big advantage of a 4 post over a 2 post. You can also have it on caster wheels so you can move it around (not with the car on it, can just move the empty lift). Here is a link that will jump you straight to that portion of my video where you can see how I can move mine on...

I considered the bigger one also, I have a long wheelbase sprinter van which is too big for my HD9 but didn't want the lift taking up that much space the rest of the time. Was working under the sprinter last weekend and kind of regretted it... beyond that no regrets on my HD9.
