Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

I am continuing on my goal to get organized with this cart. Made a custom socket organizer (see a few posts back) and now moved on to the wrenches. I used the full width shallow drawer and laser cut a custom organizer for the wrenches. Latest video showing the details: <iframe width="560"...

Thanks! Yeah, I need to get back on the 510 project, hope to have it on the road this summer.

Technically this isn't a modification but something custom built for my new 5 drawer. I built a socket organizer sized to fit the top shelf. Shot a howto on building it for my youtube channel: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Nzb-4KbGCC0" frameborder="0"...

    Milwaukee M18 "fuel" grinder review

Yeah, wasn't the most organized on this one.... thanks for the input. I have seen that video from AVE. I plan on going at it a little differently and looking at torque output (i.e. can they supply the needed amps under load) . Planning on comparing the genuine Milwaukee "XC" vs the non "XC"...

    Milwaukee M18 "fuel" grinder review

I was surprised at how much difference there was between the original batteries that came with my drill/driver set and the newer XC 5.0 battery. Don't know if it is the age or if those XC batteries really do put out that much more amperage (I suspect a little of both). That got me thinking...

    Milwaukee M18 "fuel" grinder review

Been looking to pick up one of these for a while and finally pulled the trigger a couple weeks ago. The question I wanted to answer is if it is it a reasonable replacement for a corded grinder or is it just a so-so grinder that has the convenience of cordless operation? I did a couple somewhat...

    Finally got my BendPak lift!

From what I can see it doesn't seem to make a huge difference who you buy from. No matter who you buy it through it will drop ship directly from Bendpak and (at least when I bought mine) I didn't see any price difference. I already shop with Summit for a lot of other stuff and been happy with...

    Finally got my BendPak lift!

I had a couple of questions on youtube about my installation video. I did a couple more quick videos to address them. First was about the caster wheels and if they would be easy to build yourself so I did a video showing them in more detail: <iframe width="560" height="315"...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Nice job, lot of effort there. I never have the patience for that and always just buy cheap seat covers to cover up the stains.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Love mine surprised you didn't like driving them. Did you have the older style T1N model (pre 2008 or so I think)? As far as reliability I had to replace 1 exhaust temp sensor and the front struts. Granted, mine doesn't get the level of use as a commercial vehicle would. I use it as a bare...

Replaced front struts in my sprinter van. Filmed it for my youtube channel, I am creating a series of how-to videos for the DIY mechanic:

    Bendpak HD-9

Nope, that is the big advantage of a 4 post over a 2 post. You can also have it on caster wheels so you can move it around (not with the car on it, can just move the empty lift). Here is a link that will jump you straight to that portion of my video where you can see how I can move mine on...

    Bendpak HD-9

I considered the bigger one also, I have a long wheelbase sprinter van which is too big for my HD9 but didn't want the lift taking up that much space the rest of the time. Was working under the sprinter last weekend and kind of regretted it... beyond that no regrets on my HD9.
