I ran cat 7 from the house into the shop. Then I bought a used router and reconfigured it into a WI-FI extension. Now I have full bars inside the shop at all time. The reconfiguration can be done on any router and the directions can be found on YouTube on how to do it. I learned early on that...
I have the same lift and it is great.I have not tried to lift my truck ( Duramax) but I’m not sure I would feel comfortable with it. But to be fare it makes me nervous to lift any vehicle. Nothing to do with the lift just me getting into my head. Lol
I did a 36x56 and poured it over two weekends. Pulled the truck in for the back half nd then did the rebar on the front and poured it the next weekend to avoid that problem. It worked really well
Well all it took a lot of pounding and some help from a buddy but the pins are out. I’m going to wire brush them clean and apply anti seize and put them back on. Thanks for all your help.
That’s what I was looking for. Exactly where are the located. I have looked and don’t see any pins. I still do t think these things are seized because the do move. It seems like something else is holding them
Thanks
Good afternoon,
I finally bought a used challenger VLE10 lift and got it up and bolted down. My problem now is that the arms were not removed when I bought it and I installed it’s a different way then they had it set up. So now the long arms are in the front and the short arms are in the back...
I built on a slope because I had no choice. It was a lot more fill than I expected and pushed my budget about 13K in the end. But it’s was worth it to have my shop. The fill pushed me about 5k more than we thought but then I had a retaining wall built the next year. The first pic is the grade...
I have one that I run as a little extra cleaning. I don’t think it could keep up completely but its nice to get under things that it’s not as easy to get with a broom. I out it off Facebook market place for 50 bucks I think. I named it after my wife who hates it when I say Susan out cleaning the...
I bought an 52 Areins a few years back with the 23 HPKawasaki motor. It’s made by Gravely ( basically there homeowners version) which was a plus. The ride could be a little smoother but that can be addressed by itself. I’ve had zero issues with it an while prices were different a couple years...
When I did my building we had it written into the contract that if we could not get the permit the deal would be dead and I would get my deposit back. But with that said I had to do my part to get the area ready for the build. I spent a large amount of money building the area up to the correct...
I used a company called Zenz buildings. They are out of Dekalb, I would recommend them to anyone I know and if I was going to build another one I would go straight back to them. I am not sure if they go up into Wis but you may call and ask. Jim is the owner and he handles all the process and...
Thanks for all the info folks, I understand what I am doing s probably biting off more than I can chew but we all started somewhere. I may end up subbing the frame work but I will learn how to weld during the process.
Hello all,
I’m starting a S-10 frame swap for my 49 Chevy which will include extending the frame in the process. I bought myself a Lincoln 140 welder to use for this project and what ever crazy Idea I decide in the process. I’m new to welding but want to go the gas route rathe than flux. I...
