I've bought tools from a lot of websites. Often times I will see something on the tools trucks and find it online under a different brand name for a fraction of the price. I've had nothing but good service from tooltopia.com. They usually have the lowest prices as well if you factor in shipping...
Cen-tech infrared thermometer...Pass
Been using one regularly for the last few weeks. Seems to be accurate within the given specs. Only complaint I have (and its a small one) is that it defaults to celcius. Oh yea, also doesn't work well on stainless, but I don't think many do. With coupon only...
I don't know about you but I can't stand the smell of dirty solvent. Minimizing exposure with some simple ventilation might be something to look in to. Especially if you don't change solvent very often but spend a significant time standing over the tank. An overhead bathroom type fan, if placed...
I was looking at those as well but decided to go with the Mac Cobalt bits. Mainly because the Mac guy is the only one who seems to warranty broken bits. The case they come in is pretty cool too.

I'm in my fist year of two year automotive program and 30 to 40 percent of the students in my class...
Even the rubber hoses can be a pain to coil if they get cold enough (or get old). I got so tired of coiling mine that I recently purchased a Lincoln hose real with 50 feet of 3/8 hose. I can pull out 50 feet of hose in ten seconds and put it back in about half that time. IIRC I bought it for...
I use that same box for school. It currently weighs about 110 lbs and still has a bit more room. It's a little rough lifting it into the trunk of my car early in the morning but it is nice to have the extra space to keep stuff organized.
Saw this in the local Craig's list.

I don't know about two grand but I would be pretty psyched to have it for my antique tool collection.
