4-Post Lifts - Help me decide which ones are quality built.

I have a Backyard Buddy and could not be more pleased. I moved it on a rollback once and am ready to move it again. The rollback only has to remove the side rail because of the width.

    saving odd things

I collect old railroad date nails. From 1901 through 1966 it takes a lot of small boxes to keep them organized. Glass is not an option because I'm all thumbs. Concrete blocks and 1x4's with small cardboard boxes is now my solution. A better idea or they are gone as I move to my new-old barn. Old...

    4 post lifts...Yes, I did a search

I bought a BYB from the wife of a dear friend who passed away. I moved it from it's old location using a regular slide back wrecker. I am ready to move to another location and all I need to do is air it up on the wheels and roll it to a spot on the driveway. I love it.

Rapid Air kit Parker fittings vs Sharkbite

I ran 1/2 Pex through the studs in my wall. I then covered with R-19 insulation and am ready to connect 90 degree ends for outside faucets and the utility sink inside. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Gutter guards

I purchased Gutter Guards for my entire home about 3 years ago. I don't believe any leafs got past the guard and into the gutter. The problem was that anything less than light shower the water went right over the guard and into my yard. I had them replaced this year with 4 inch gutters. Never...

    My lucky day

Good reply bw77. I buy American as often as I can. I do look at the COO and if I possibly can I buy USA. We know who has, not the blinders, but the blindfold on.

Do anyone have carpet in your garage?

I had some carpet in my garage until my Pro Street 37 blown Ford belched and it caught on fire. That made a believer out of me. Bare concrete and a lift solved my problem.

    Lathe tooling storage solutions

I just bought my first lathe, an old Craftsman. I am in the middle of renovating an old barn and this idea is great. Copying is the greatest form of flattery.

    Antique street lamps anyone?

I purchased two Model T kerosene cowl lights on ebay. They still have the adjustable wicks in them. I plan on making a simple light socket for the light. Only problem is there is a right and a left. I have two lefts. I will post pictures when I start working on them.

    Bridgeport vise

A friend gave me a Bridgeport vice. It has about a 10 spread and weighs about 80 pounds. My problem is the slide is screwed in to about 2 inches and is stuck. I washed it in our power washer at work and tilted it and sprayed WD 40 and let it set overnight and it is still stuck. Any ideas on what...

    The Megabench

I like it because you built it yourself and it fits your needs. I go to a lot of car shows and hear guys walk from car to car trying to find flaws. Usually they don't own a hot rod and drive a crappy foreign car. I much prefer to hear I did it than I bought it. Just my opinion.
