Thanks for the suggestion but not worth the time and trouble at this point. I have ordered a little giant pump which will work with solvents.

    Recommend a parts washer PUMP

Yes, from my research kerosene is fine in fuel pumps. Bur the PSC1000 solvent solution will not work in gas and diesel pumps.

I'm going constant flow. After using a diesel pump I learned the PSC1000 solvent solution swells up the seals in gas and diesel pumps and causes the pump to all but lock up.

I bought a used HFT parts washer that the pump had gone bad. I wanted to use solvent so got the Tractor Supply PSC1000. Used a bucket as a collection tank under and bought a submersible fuel pump https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYCXBTK?tag=atomicindus08-20 It lasted about two days and the pump...

VISE REPAIR 101 all vise repairs, lubricants, sources for parts and the tricks to fix

Thanks guys for all the ideas. I was also thinking of making the bolt. However, since the threads are messed up I cannot get a good reading with my thread gauge. It seems to be a 13/16-14 tph but just not sure because the whole looks to be a lottle oversized and the threads in bad shape from...

VISE REPAIR 101 all vise repairs, lubricants, sources for parts and the tricks to fix

I'm restoring a Craftsman 5196 that has seen better days. It came to me apart and is missing the center swivel bolt. I am sure no one has one to sell so I am hoping someone at least can give me the dimensions of the bolt so I can make one. Thanks. Danny

Early Vintage Craftsman Bench Grinder (pre-block & tombstone)

Thanks, I had a new tag made by mattblast, member here on Garage Journal. Yes I was lucky to find one with the quench tray. I have been thinking of using mine as a pattern to cast a few. I have had other parts cast and then finished the machining myself. I could use a second one myself for...
