Craftsman Drill Press Information Belts, Bearings, Chucks, Keys, etc…1946-1984

Frank, Thanks so much for you input. The column on mine is 64.5" tall measured end to end after disassembled. And, yes a PITA to get apart. That column will not be reused, NO WAY! Just not worth the effort to handle it and try to move it around. The column will be sold to anyone who can make...

Craftsman Drill Press Information Belts, Bearings, Chucks, Keys, etc…1946-1984

Thanks for the suggestion but not worth the time and trouble at this point. I have ordered a little giant pump which will work with solvents.

    Recommend a parts washer PUMP

Yes, from my research kerosene is fine in fuel pumps. Bur the PSC1000 solvent solution will not work in gas and diesel pumps.

    Recommend a parts washer PUMP

I'm going constant flow. After using a diesel pump I learned the PSC1000 solvent solution swells up the seals in gas and diesel pumps and causes the pump to all but lock up.

I bought a used HFT parts washer that the pump had gone bad. I wanted to use solvent so got the Tractor Supply PSC1000. Used a bucket as a collection tank under and bought a submersible fuel pump https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYCXBTK?tag=atomicindus08-20 It lasted about two days and the pump...

Early Vintage Craftsman Bench Grinder (pre-block & tombstone)

Thanks for the kind words. And although they aren't as common as the block and tombstone grinders, they are out there. Recently there were two listed within driving range,...for me that is. One was about 3 hours to my west and another almost 4 hours to the east. I went to for the east one...
