I bought a used HFT parts washer that the pump had gone bad. I wanted to use solvent so got the Tractor Supply PSC1000. Used a bucket as a collection tank under and bought a submersible fuel pump https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XYCXBTK?tag=atomicindus08-20 It lasted about two days and the pump trickled to almost a complete stop. No clog and only run clean fluid testing it out. Then bought this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082KKC5Q4?tag=atomicindus08-20 Same thing again, less than an hour running it quit also. Both pumps worked great at first and I was happy and the flow stopped. After some research it seams the seals in fuel pumps are not good with cleaning solvents and will break down. I read others have used them with no issues. So after some more research I decided next I would spend some money and buy the proper pump for solvents. It looked Beckett Pumps were the answer. Others have mentioned the GP210V But before shelling out more $$$ I contacted Beckett and below is there response. So now I'm not sure which pump to use or if I should just change to kerosene.
Any recommendations?

Curtis feom cutting edge engineering youtube channel used a big diesel pump in his recent. He uses jet a fuel. He has only had it for a matter of months I would guess. He mentioned the cost of the pump......it is a lot....I don't remember exactly.

Are you running the pump with constant flow or shutting the flow off with a valve? I don't know if that matters with any of the pumps.

I use a 12v gas pump for carbed cars with a 3 amp power supply and generic fuel filter on the input. Works on kerosene anyway.

I'm going constant flow. After using a diesel pump I learned the PSC1000 solvent solution swells up the seals in gas and diesel pumps and causes the pump to all but lock up.

Yes, from my research kerosene is fine in fuel pumps. Bur the PSC1000 solvent solution will not work in gas and diesel pumps.

I don't know specifically for a parts washer but Little Giant makes a high quality pump.

Something to consider too is too much flow can be an issue.
I generally use the brush on my tank. Need some flow, but too much makes a mess.
I have a ball valve and just tirn it down or open the one to the spigot so some of the solvent goes that way.

can the first pump.be taken apart to see if the seals are standard orings or something special?

Orings come in quite a few materials and could probably be upgraded.

I'm not sure if those are diaphragm pumps and that is failing, so maybe there isn't any hope for them.

Thanks for the suggestion but not worth the time and trouble at this point. I have ordered a little giant pump which will work with solvents.

All of my equipment here at my shop has some type of solvent or oil and they all have Little Giant pumps.

That being said, does Harbor Freight not sell a replacement pump and is it made for solvent ?
No, the Harbor Freight replacement pump is same as original. Its a fountain water pump.

The Little Giant us the way to go, they are commercial use pumps made for that purpose.

Buy once, cry once type thing.

I'd rather not have a random pump sitting in 30 gallons of "fuel" too.
