I just bought some simple green pro HD for mine. It's supposed to be non-corrosive and safe for aluminum. Haven't tried it yet but I'm hoping it does the trick. Available at Home Depot.

itsback, I've got a kobalt 60 gal compressor with the same type air intake. I took a 1/4" piece of aluminum and trimmed it to fit the opening, tapped a 1/2" pipe thread hole in the center and fit a silencer from Solberg. Seems to work pretty good.

Givl, good point but I knew what I was getting into. The reason I got it at a reduced price ($200) was because of the missing cap. I could buy the OEM's cap. and still save $$, but I know I can do better than that.
