    Find a machinist and have a new one madeout of steel. If you have it welded it will probably be an explosion risk. REALLY (that happens a lot).

    my screwdriver quest

    I'm also a vote for Klein ..Junked all my other stuff or use it for misc custom tools (like bending 90's to make scrapers or picks) used by electricians are they put them thru heck. Especially like my cutters (not for the feint of heart at 40 bucks Canadian)

Look at the layout of your new hoist then cut (YES I SAID CUT) the floor to the wall (a slot) and up to the hoist(both sides) and use it to route power air and whatever else you can think of.     Note that those prices was before the 3 c brand that we have now (Cheap Chinese ****) and even those cheap tools lasted for years. They weren't good for a pro but for the average homeowner they were great. Now many aren't any good for any purpose even the first time. Heck we used to complain...
