Epoxy curing. It is however the small pot metal tab that goes into the metal pawl. I guess I could some screw with a form factor like a thumb screw...tap and die and file to suit. Epoxy until that dies. May be 3 uses, maybe 300.

So, mine, given to be by my grooms some 40 years ago, has a broken internal "rib" on the back of the selector. Unclear if a new selector comes in kit. Seems they may or might and are non chromed. Seems I need a 43447...

I have one and was not able to locate a replacement seal. If there is some smart source for seals, I would love to know.
