    Delta 14" Bandsaw Restoration

I am currently refurbing a 1952 Delta bandsaw. I have a question about belt tension. When I bought the saw it had the steel stand and a 1/4 horse motor mounted. I have since acquired the CI stand and a 1/2 horse Delta motor. My question is how do I adjust drive belt tension on this? I still need...

Show us your cool, "old" drill press

There is one for sale on CL in Detroit. I noticed your in the Midwest. The guy wants too much for it, but the barter is half the fun.

Show us your cool, "old" drill press

Picked this DP up about a year ago. Delta DP-600 17inch from the early 50's. Probably a little more drill press than I need, but the price was right and it kicks a**. Id like to get the foot feed system for it, but I haven't seen one for sale under $275. It has the production table, without a...

    What are these wrenches?

What are they worth if they are the Imperials?

    What are these wrenches?

These are on craigslist and the guy doesn't know anything about them. I don't know anything about them, but they look cool and I want them. Info anyone? He doesn't even know how much he wants for them.

    Meteor Mini Ratchet and Sockets?

So they aren't really rare, but old and cool. I thought the meteor ratchet reverse knob was unusual, I had never seen one like that, instead of clicking back and forth you screw in and out to change the direction. Thanks for the info everyone.

    Meteor Mini Ratchet and Sockets?

Picked these up a while back and forgot I had them. I just started setting up my new workshop(garage) and re-found them. Im not sure if this is rare or common but I thought it was kind of cool. I think I paid about $1.00 for the set. I also got the wrench in the box, never heard of either...

How to value/sell a 'vintage' Delta Drill Press?

I have the exact same model. As clean or maybe cleaner with the production table, no holes or smiley face. Runout was minimal. I paid $395 and I have not regreted it for one second. That drill press will run for another 100 years. Don't get low balled, someone who knows a quality drill press...

    Rockwell Table Saw Motor

I recently bought a Rockwell table saw Model# 34-400 along with a Rockwell 6" Jointer on Craigslist. The jointer works as it should, the table saw needs some TLC. I need to wire the motor for 110 (currently wired for 220), and I am having trouble finding a clear diagram for how. The motor ID...

Delta Rockwell DP600 Spindle Pulley Wobble

I've decided to replace the bearings if possible. The top pulley bearing is setting crooked in the car arm and I think that's why it's wobbling. Did anyone know the best place to get bearings for this press, I know they are kind of hard to find.

Delta Rockwell DP600 Spindle Pulley Wobble

Also the only noises I heard were the humming of the motor, rattling from the belt cover and a loose mount on the on/off switch, but like I said this is my first drill press and I could be missing some subtle noises. The pulley didn't seem damaged, but I will look it over more thoroughly. There...

Delta Rockwell DP600 Spindle Pulley Wobble

When I purchased it I tried to shake the pulley and couldn't, so I think it might be one of the bearings. I noticed on top of the pulley what looked like a brass washer or bearing and I think its not the correct part. Ill take more pictures when I get a chance. Also, I saw a Bearing Cap DP-609...

Delta Rockwell DP600 Spindle Pulley Wobble

I recently acquired a delta Rockwell dp600 serial number 105-XXXX, the dp is extremely clean. It has the old style production table with no slots. At some point someone put a baldor 1-1/2 horse 220/110 motor on it. The only thing that concerns me is that there is a slight wobble on the spindle...
