Good finishing deal for 40x80 new floor?

I forget the brand, but it was 12x12 rectified edge, 3/8" high density (in other words, the good stuff). I probably would do that in a smaller garage of my own, but I'm not spending my money here, so we went looking for other solutions. I'm still not convinced 3 part is required -- a simple...

Good finishing deal for 40x80 new floor?

Thanks for the comments guys...I'm not the one writing the check so I don't have the final say, but my guess is we'll go this route. And as for tile, I already brought that up but the cost for materials alone exceeded this quote, so that was an easy decision.

Good finishing deal for 40x80 new floor?

We're getting quotes to finish a new 40x80 concrete floor (5000 PSI, power trowel finish...smooth as glass) and the first quote came in at 6500. This is what they're planning to do: 1) Sand/etch 2) Primer 3) 10-15 mils 100% solids tinted epoxy 4) Finish coat of "chemical resistant" urethane...

Heated floor - insulate around lift accomodations?

I hoped that would be the case. I believe they're planning to install rebar so I'll get them to extend the vapor barrier down there before they do that. Thanks for the reply.

That's the funny part about it. My website already protects against hotlinking, so all people see is my "Access Denied" picture. Most people see the warning picture and get the idea, but some do not. Thanks for the welcome, incidentally, but I've been reading the journal regularly for a...

    Strut Sockets

That's the problem. While you may have obtained the URL from google, the URL points to my site and displays the image using my site's bandwidth. That is the very definition of hotlinking, and represents theft of my site's bandwidth. If you doubt me, all you have to do is edit your first post...

AFF (American Forge and Foundry) 200T "Lowrider" Low Profile Floor Jack?

Re: AFF (American Forge and Foundry) 200T "Lowrider" Low Profile Floor Jack? A bit late to the thread, but I'll offer my experience. Had mine for a couple years now, used it many times, and I'm still happy with it. http://www.dvatp.com/bmw/diy/tools/ It's not exactly the lightest thing in...
