Generating 3 phase power with a small engine

It might be easier to get a MILSURP generator for a few thousand dollars. My MEP003 can make single phase or 3-phase power.

    weld porosity issues

Might consider that your shielding gas is contaminated....did it start happening after changing bottles of gas? I see you tried another bottle, but we’re they filled at the same time and location? A bit of a reach, but seems that all other possibilities were covered other than bad gas.

    Vinyl siding install help needed

DONT buy the siding from a big-box store. Find a siding supplier to buy from. They will have better quality and selection and will be CHEAPER. Find a local tool rental that has a metal brake for rent. You will need it for some trim work with the coil stock for areas like the soffit. Doing...

    Home-Shop Internet Netgear Router problems

Can you confirm the router inhe garage is in AP mode...to turn it into a wireless access point? The slow speed could be accounted for if you are still connecting wirelessly to the router in the house?

My HVAC guy tells me that my A/C condenser fan has no capacitor

Is there a capacitor in the unit....I bet there is.....and bet it serves a dual purpose......my American Standard has ONE cap that is a “dual” and serves as a cap for both compressor and fan. I am not saying your AC guy is wrong, but perhaps a second opinion is in order, or take a look for...

    Ferris ZTR Advice

I can’t speak to the 700 or 800 model Ferris mowers specifically, but currently have a 3200 72” with the Briggs 37hp EFI, as well as a couple of Ferris 3-wheelers......all I can say is every Ferris I have is built like a TANK! For my money between the two, I would look at the specs for those...

Another question about wifi to the shop

And most likely needs the second router to be configured in AP mode so it acts like a wireless access point. Two routers like that will be nothing but headaches.

    moving a inoperative Bobcat

Any friend or neighbors with a tractor? I have dragged much heavier with my CUT Deere tractor. Once pulled a truck sideways about 100 feet and the Deere never knew it was dragging anything.

Is there one down your way? I am in The Friendly City and know there is one in Sweetwater and Knoxville.

Opinions on winterizing lawn tractor in heated garage

Only thing I do different from below is actually start everything roughly every 3-4 weeks and let it run for ~5 minutes. FWIW, I use the marine-grade Stabil.

Having problems with my MIG setup

Double check the polarity....reverse polarity for gas and straight polarity for flux core wire. They typically come set for straight polarity from the factory.

Advice: I wish I knew then, what I know now!

You can NEVER have too many electric outlets....including 220v on each wall for welder and other 220v items. Think about ventilation too!
