How-D to the collective, FNG just joined and happy to be here.

Almost retired tool and die maker/mechanical designer of widgets and the infernal contraptions that make them. Avid motorcyclist/sports car enthusiast, campfire snoozer, and purveyor of blunt-edged humor. Formerly from Chicago, now atop a ridge on 4 acres of Appalachia.

Hope to do a lot of reading as I set my hobby tool room up at home, will contribute what little I know that's worth sharing. Thanks for letting me in, see ya around the ranch

Thanks for the welcome everybody. I'm in SE Tennessee in between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Have ridden the motorcycle many times in N. Georgia, N. Carolina and enjoy each visit. I get out to middle TN, Alabama, and the surrounding area now and then. I was born in the south, just took me 55 years to find my way home. You'll have to use a pry bar to make me leave now. Glad to be on this board, look forward to reading/contributing what's worth knowing.
