    Champion SE/30/35A compressor

Awesome! I did some digging and couldn’t find anything in my stuff for that exact model. I’ve got the manual for the Type N which was the earlier horizontal 2 stage. The unit I have has the plain cast base without “Champion” on it. Their design hasn’t changed much at all. It was well...

Vintage Quincy/Honeywell air compressor ID help

Did you ever purchase this compressor. It looks to be a 255 ROC 7. It says so right on the serial number tag, at least. Should be a nice pump.

    R30 champion

Old compressors are fun and addictive. I’ve got a Champion N and S-1 plus a couple Ingersoll T-30’s and a Quincy 216 that I’m working on right now. Wouldn’t mind adding a few more…

    Champion SE/30/35A compressor

Very nice old compressor. I’ve got some vintage Champion lit at home that I’ll look through. CFM on that is going to be pretty low compared to a more modern design. I’ve got a couple that I view more as antique functional displays than usable units.

    R30 champion

What are you planning to do with the compressor? R-30’s are beasts. I looked at a couple recently and they weren’t very practical for my needs since they really should have a 7.5hp motor to drive them. I love overkill as much as anyone but it would have been a lot of wasted muscle for what I...

    Quincy 216

So Quincy responded today and said the one valve seat looked aftermarket but their own parts manual shows the tapered seat with the small opening. Part number 1919. There’s also a different seat listed in some of the newer part manuals so I’m still not sure what is going on here and what is...

    Quincy 216

I have all of the available parts diagrams and they don’t show a difference in the valve seats. I was hoping maybe someone on here had experience with these compressors and had run into this before.

    Quincy 216

This is a single stage compressor. Both cylinders are the same size.

    Anyone?

    Quincy 216

Quincy experts…Any idea why these discharge valve seats are different? 216 ROC40.

    Quincy 216 Refurb

I started working on the Quincy 216 packaged unit with rebadged Arrow refrigerated air dryer. I’m going to freshen everything up and use this as a dedicated breathing air supply to my paint area since my IR 2340 can’t keep up with a full size spray gun and an air fed hood at the same time...

Old IR 30 T 234 compressor value (on CL)

bob15 do you have this manual in digital format? I just bought a 253D5 that I'm going to rebuild and don't have any manuals for it.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Still an OK deal when you price out the separate components but they were marked down to $199 and eventually $169 yellow tag clearance after the holidays. The online price has never changed.

My gripe with youtube tool reviews

As someone else mentioned Kyle at RR Builders shows actual work and also talks about the tools he is currently using. He isn’t loyal to any certain brand and gives his honest opinion even though I think he does receive free stuff from time to time. ZK Mastertech is a good channel to see what...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

At $169 I figured they were too good of a buy to pass up. I ended up buying one at $199 and a second at $169 when the price dropped. Went back and got the adjustment. Didn’t really need them both but getting 2 of the 5.0 HO batteries plus the tools bags and charger at that price was a no...
