Quincy experts…Any idea why these discharge valve seats are different? 216 ROC40.

Oh ok. I would verify with a parts diagram
I have all of the available parts diagrams and they don’t show a difference in the valve seats. I was hoping maybe someone on here had experience with these compressors and had run into this before.

Did you look up the part number to physically see what it looks like? If each cylinder is equal then I think the small one is wrong. Maybe someone put it in from a 2 stage compressor.

So Quincy responded today and said the one valve seat looked aftermarket but their own parts manual shows the tapered seat with the small opening. Part number 1919. There’s also a different seat listed in some of the newer part manuals so I’m still not sure what is going on here and what is correct.
