That's the same basic set-up I've used with mu M12 inflator to run my pin nailer and such when I only need to do a few shots and don't want to run my large compressor. Saw the idea on MCT YouTube channel. He ran his Ryobi small inflator the same way.
Arrived today, new in box. Great deal on a tool that feels solid and capable. Gonna test it out on some scrap chain and bolts I have laying around. Thanks for posting!
What type of backhoe? All the teeth I've seen on the excavators, BH, loader buckets have all ways been pinned in place, not peened. Cross pin through the tooth and the mounting stud. I have some rental equip show up with the teeth welded on.
Fasteners Inc. is a legit site, Been in business for a while (20+ years), and gets featured on the YouTube tool review circuit quite a bit. The link is to the weekly Saturday deal of the day. The website is their online outlet. I've ordered from them in the past with no issues.

I use the same recip for most of my messy...

I use the old magnetic tool holders from Craftsman. The more square ones with the red backing plate. Only "drawback" is the extensions and such do get some slight magnetism, but it has not hampered me in my use of them. Don't know if it might be an issue for you.
I also used the el cheapo loaf...
Good ol basic black mechanics tool bag. Sometimes the longer one is called a "tanker" bag. And yeah if it's tools for just in case get him Ryobi. Yes I'm a heretic get the burner... But the inflator works well, lights are deacent, and for the price you wont cry if they get stolen...
