Know anything about this Airco Welder?

Good luck. I have used mine a bunch since I first posted. Works great. As far as my poor skills are concerned.

US General 44" tool box part numbers

I purchased a 44" black 64441 today. It does NOT have full extension drawers. They are 1-1/4" from full extension.

What's your favorite "off" brands for tools.

Klein does not equal off brand. If I asked anyone that knows anything about tools to hand me a pair of Kliens or Channellocks, I think I would get the right tool whether they were Klein, Channelock, or any other brand.

Lotos PilotArc Plasma LTPD5000D $287 plus other cutters and welders on Amazon

I posted this in one of the other Amazon threads but thought this warranted its own. Several plasma cutters and welders and combo units on the Amazon Deal of the Day...

Looking to buy 110v mig welder.

My northern industrial (now Ironton I think) 110v flux core has served me well. Can weld 1/8+ with no problem. I put some decent .035 wire in it and a better longer ground clamp on it. It's a 110 flux core so you will never get pretty welds but it does the job. Sent from my Moto G Play using...

Best tractor implement for leveling ground?

I would not recommend this for "moving" dirt. It is good for leveling dirt and the best implement for maintaining driveways. I have the land pride version with adjustable depth teeth and blades. http://www.landpride.com/products/82/gs15-series-grading-scrapers

Know anything about this Airco Welder?

Thank you very much. I found where you got the picture. http://weldingweb.com/showthread.php?339261-1953-Miller-Restoration So it is a twin to a Miller 61F from the 1950's. I may need that thread if I decide to do my own restoration.

Know anything about this Airco Welder?

I know the welder has plenty of fine adjustment, 75 full 10" diameter turns to go through the range. And smooth as butter the whole way.

Know anything about this Airco Welder?

I have some 6011 on the way. This will be my first time stick welding. I have a 110v flux core that I use to put some light weight stuff together. Hopefully I can do a little heavier with this. I was also going to try some 7014 and maybe the 7018 if I get adventurous.

Know anything about this Airco Welder?

My Grandpa gave me this welder the other day. It is an Airco MCM 180. Not sure when it was used last but it needs a new cord and plug that will fit my outlet. The leads are in good shape. Does anyone know how old it is? Or where to find any other information about it? I can't seem to find...

    (It's) Riding lawn mower time

It's not the size of the deck, it's how you use it. No seriously. A large deck attached to an underpowered engine and a slow speed is not good for your time. Where as a smaller deck that can cut at twice the speed and power will still get you finished faster.

    Sparks/slag in your garage

I would think sparks/slag getting to bare wood would be more of a concern than any insulation. Commercially available insulation isn't very combustable. It will burn in a fire but is tough to ignite.

I would agree on the Hustler Raptor.
