    Switch remote??

CJ7- it is a maxlite 105w. It got installed on 480 and fried the driver so all it cost me was a $40 driver. MFL105AX7TX50B. Thanks for the link to the caseta. I think that my remote would work in series but I still want it to be operable at the shop so that may be my best option.

    Switch remote??

I installed a great led flood on the gable of my shop and would like to be able to control it from the house. I bought a remote switch but I can't get them to work together (only the remote will work with swit h on. When off the reciever loses power and must be re-paired with remote to turn on.)...

Dad you can still see my footprints

Footprints ended up at the end of the workbench where the welder lives. I'm as yet undecided on the anti slip product I used. Color chips brand sprinkled on between top coats. It is very aggressive and my application was a bit uneven. In hindsight I would have used a less aggressive product...

    30x40 stick built

Got a countertop built for a utility sink. I can't believe how expensive the install kit for the woodstove is. The boat is finally inside taking up space.

    30x40 stick built

Thanks Warren. I hunt as much as I can, 2 yrs into a new job so I'm hoping for some time off this season. No real trophies to speak of but usually some meat in the freezer. I need lots of time in the woods to compensate for my lack of skill.

Thanks Dan. Your right on the money!! Old bluebrint cabinets. They are 37" deep so it will make any shelving a bit rough but we'll see.

    30x40 stick built

Thanks LX it seems like the finish line is always just around the bend. I did get some cabinets in, topped with 1/8" steel. The other one will probably be formica with a utility sink. I haven't decided what to do for hot water. I ran a 110v for a 2.5 gallon and a 30amp for instant( should have...

    Steel type for bench top??

I have reached the conclusion that with my free but very used cabinets I should stick with my penny pinching theme and get the A36 in 1/8" . Perhaps when I tackle one of those bench build threads I will step it up to something significant. Thanks for all the help and info. I'll post a pic later...

    Steel type for bench top??

Thanks for the link One of those would be great for my other counter, unfortunately they are about 400 miles across the state from me :( The sheets are going to overlay existing 1-1/4" formica countertops. Guys next door at work will bend the front and backsplash for me. A36 is not what the...

    Steel type for bench top??

Hey all- I am looking for advice on countertop material. I picked up some old blueprint cabinets and want to top them with steel. I think I'm set on 3/16 but unsure on type. I can get high tensile for about 15 bucks more per sheet than the standard (41something whatever) at $265. The surface...

    30x40 stick built

Sprayed vapor barrier seems commonplace here. My moisture issues are likely from leakage around recessed lighting and unused hvac ceiling registers. Finished the epoxy floor today. I wish I would have mixed the non-slip additive instead of sprikling. My wife saved my sons footprints from...

Dad you can still see my footprints

The wife and kids pitched in and we got the epoxy down and flaked. Used clear hobby epoxy in the footprints and will put 2 coats of clear over it all.

    30x40 stick built

Thanks! The siding on the house is hardi. This stuff is Allura. I used Masons Select "duckback" semi trasparent stain I had left over from the house. I believe they have changed their product now. I sprayed it prior to hanging. 2 coats- heavy so it would settle in the low areas. I sprayed...

Dad you can still see my footprints

Thanks for the words of wisdom! I have already ordered most of my supplies so the clear, base and chips are on the way. I'm thinking I will use another clear in the footprints and mask them with gorilla tape. I have a wide roll of paper to practice chip broadcast and spiked shoes. The shop...
