I have both of these -- they are good, not great. I use them for front end work stuff, where I am banging my hands around more. Not so great for more detailed work like turning small nuts.

Okay, so a few phone calls later, I found out my county does have a hazardous waste recycle day -- they just can't tell when the next one will be. Sort of a pain in the ***. Maybe I'll just take one of my Travis County friends down there with me. Pffffft.

Yea, but I am technically not in Travis County, so they may not be so cool about it. My county doesn't have anything like this that I can find.

Around here, the local parts stores will recycle oil. Nobody will take antifreeze, brake fluid, hydro, etc. Any resources I am missing? What do you all do?

Used my set this weekend to pry struts out of the knuckles on one of my cars. Are they fancy and all super technical and made with Russian titanium? Nope. Effective? Sure thing, and for $26 bucks (had to pay shipping), I am pretty pleased with them.

Quick heads up on Skygeek -- for one rack shipped to me in Texas, the shipping was almost 18 bucks with no cheaper options. Deal killer for me.

Some Volvo tie rods need a 21 (or 22, I forget) too. The axle nut is an odd size too, I forget what though. Nothing more frustrating than not having a tool when you need it.

I was selling a Chevy truck on CL last year -- wanted 2500 for it. Guy #1 came and saw it, liked it, negotiated a price on it ($2200), told me he would call the next day to exchange truck/cash. Told me to pull the CL ad -- I told it ain't over till cash changes hands. Never heard back from...
