I had thought about hanging a false ceiling. It does make the area where the trusses are feel like even more of a waste of space but you're right it's easier to heat that way.

I've been looking into Pioneer for a similar sized pole barn so I am enjoying seeing this step by step. Curious what you end up paying for concrete. My initial estimate from them included it but I was going to call around and see if it would be cheaper to use a local contractor instead.
