Hi All, looking for some advice. My goal is to be able to use my pole barn for storage and a workshop, as well as a garage. Trying to avoid heating when I'm not in there using it. So here's where I'm at but I want to make sure I'm on the right path. I've researched this but I'd like to hear from people with experience.
60x40 pole barn metal sided attached to the poles no other wrapping or plywood. Metal roofing attached to the trusses and using a bubble vapor barrier and a ridge vent. I haven't opted for soffit venting but if I should I will. 1 10x10 door, 1 8x8 door, one man door and one small window. I'm located in northeast pa just outside Allentown.
What I'd like to do is stud the walls and install batts of R13 faced there. But I'm unsure of what to do with the roof. I am choosing to not go with spray foam because I don't like the idea of it being right on the metal and the price is prohibitive to my budget. Any help is greatly appreciated.
