RaceDeck FreeFlow Installed after 11 Year Debate

Looks nice! Like yourself, I noticed an immediate difference in the comfort on the floor. The slab Is still pretty cold (it’s in the Yoop) but it doesn’t **** the heat from your feet. The true test will be next February! Although I’m not unhappy with the more narrow edge pieces, I’ll see how...

    Man Cave RaceTrack Install Pics

Appreciate the thumbs up. it Was a fun project for the wife and I. We both enjoy doing things like this together. The wood is 1x12 board and batten siding. It’s “stained” with an application of black tea followed up by white vinegar infused with steel wool. Instantly ages the wood. The 6x6...

    Man Cave RaceTrack Install Pics

First, I‘d like to comment on the exceptional customer service I have received from RD. From my first inquiry call, they have been nothing but outstanding. It’s hard to find companies these days who have employees that are knowledgeable, efficient, and focused on the customer. RD has this. in...

    Garage Mancave/Lounge Area Floored

Thanks. It kinda “evolved” and is currently “in process”. Lol. Need a floor, lighting installed, along with a fridge and storage under the mini bar. Hopefully within the next month or two. I have 2” black pipe for a footrest aro the bar to install as well. Then onto the rest. TV fed by a WiFi...

    Wall/ceiling ideas….

I agree with the metal route. Easier and lighter than drywall, corrugations allow for easy alignment. Surface mounted EMT with offset RACO boxes allow you to run the EMT either vertically between the ridges or across them as needed. Surface also allows you to add/modify circuits without opening...

    The Best Light Fixture Ever!

PrimeLights Wildcat 165 x6. Plenty of light, easy to install. Dropped them down from boxes about 5” IIRC. Set up on three separate feeds to individual switches which allow sectioned lighting. Quick shipping from Austin, TX and very helpful on the phone. I also bought some LED exterior wall...

Running EMT on Corrugated metal building

Depending on Code in your area, you can do the GFCI using a breaker at the box. This obviously, would do the entire circuit and not the individual receptacle. I’ve done both. The offset RACO boxes are a godsend and once planned and layed out, minimizes the amount of offset bends required.

    Howdy

Put a post in the flooring section, thought it rude if I didn’t say hello as well. I’ve used this forum past few years to simply scroll thru to gain ideas from everyone’s build. It’s been a great resource. Currently working on finishing up a 48’x50’ pole barn with a 12’ wrap around exterior...

    Garage Mancave/Lounge Area Floored

That looks spectacular! Mind a few questions? I’ve been looking for a product to put down in a bar area inside a pole barn. Concrete is about two years old. Bar area about 20’x20’ Usual traffic, spilled beer and bar stools. How would the tiles hold up to furniture legs and such? Would you...
