If you break the adapter by standing on the 3/4” ratchet/breaker bar, you probably would break a 1/2” breaker bar by standing on it as well. Use an adapter like you would use a 1/2” tool and you will be fine. I would only by high quality adapters myself. The Proto ones are pretty good.

For those that received them, what shipping provider did they use? I ordered two before the first reply to this thread and have heard nothing other than receiving a 3/16 shipping date.. I will not be contacting them either.

They should be available at sears. They gave me three of them last year when I ask.

Yes, I bring in an empty and expired cylinder and walk out with a full current dated cylinder for $20. I have also done swaps for different sizes, one 330 for two 125s, Oxy for Argon, with no charge. Walk in with an empty cylinder and walk out with two smaller full ones with no money changing...

“let me exchange” Looks like they raped you, I pay $20 for a 80cf exchange regardless if it is expired or not. 125cf are $25 and 330cf are $40. You may want to look elsewhere and when they quote some crazy price ask for a discount or to setup a cash account.

Check the measuring edges with a light, they should be sharp and flat against each other.. If not it could have been bent during a fall and won’t measure correctly.

This is about typical price for a 5’ box blade.
