David, you could try using smaller ones that don't use as much air like these mini sandblasters: sandblasterinfo.com/miniature-blaster-2/
Those may be too small to do some of those things but you can find something to work. Using a smaller nozzle and hoses can help for that lower cfm air...
Chris, have you ever heard of that chassis saver paint?
Its a brush on paint that looks surprisingly good and is very durable. This stuff can even coat over "cleaned up" rust.
I just thought I would mention it since it seems like you were looking for a durable coating.
