Anyone using Ikea (Or similar) kitchen cabinets in their garages?

one other item of note with Ikea is that their cabinets are 14in deep which is so much better than 12...so to me atleast thier uppers make a ton of sense in the garage.

swisstrax smooth? transition from smooth to ribtrax or flat?

Hi All, Really debating using swisstrax floor mainly to handle water so we can walk/use the garage and not always be stepping in a puddle. How is the transition from the smooth to the or flat floor trax? (non vented style) I use jackstands and get down on the floor enough that i think the...

Swisstrax Install & 3yr Armorpoxy Update (yellowed & dull)

Like most i am torn on what type of flooring to put down too. I also love detailing and the Matt Mooreman pull (OG Garage) is very strong, but have always loved the look of epoxy and the "sweepability" to keep clean. Couple questions. Outside of looks do you like the "vented" tiles as a...

    Swisstrax Ribtrax Smooth

How is the transition from ribtrax/rubbertrax to the smooth tile? I know they different thicknesses? Also how is drainage on the smooth tiles? Living in Florida, my cars always have a pool of AC evaporator water under them which makes the current floor slippery. I would like a tile that...

Can this "butcherblock" top be fixed

Part of me agrees with you, which is why i probably started the thead instead of just buying it. I guess I see a "deal" in it, and with some prep and paint the metal frame could look good. I was hoping with some sanding the top would look good. But not having a flat workbench surface would...

Can this "butcherblock" top be fixed

thanks guys. I knew I could sand out the staining and make it look good, but the wavyness would bother me. I dont have a planer....looked like a good deal at $50 bucks. I guess I could always put a different top on and then I have a steel frame workbench. I am about to build/buy a new work...

    Peg board

Hi Airbuff, where did you get the magnetic tool strip for the pegboard? Also is your black peg board the plastic stuff from wallpeg store, or more traditional pegboard painted black? Are you still liking those hooks?

    Best pegboard hooks?

Which pegboard hooks did you get? Did you ever resolve your problem. I am looking at the Talon Hooks, and maybe the wallpeg hooks. I just hate having them fall out which my current hooks do all the time.
