I have the Gearwrench flex head flare nut wrenches. I have literally beaten the poop out of these over the past 3 years or so and they haven't failed in any capacity. The price was much more reasonable than Snap On, and the quality is real. High. The pin has held up well, and the heads remain...

I carry 2 or 3 diifferently sized ones in my tool box when I go out on a roadcall. They're technically not the right tool to use, however, in a pinch, they have been lifesavers. I have used them to change air fittings, hydraulic lines and fittings, used them as hammers, prybars and wedges.

Update... The Wilton tap extractor functioned as intended. No muss, no fuss. Worth every penny. Thank God!

I just purchased the Wilton extractor kit today. They're going to be put to the test tonight, removing a broken tap in a Ford V10 head. Wish me luck.

I'm not a fan of tire plugs, but I hate walking too! In both of my daily drivers, I have a tire plug kit, a small 12 air compressor, slipjoint and needle nose pliers. Just in case.

I recieved the new Northern Tools and equipment catalog recently and, for the 1st time in recent history, had a moment to real it. Inside, there were pages filled with "Klutch" brand tools. Apparently, Klutch has everything everyone else does in hand tools and relativly low cost. Lifetime...

I have my grandfathers tools as well. They're not Snap-on, but to me are much more valuable. I have not, and will likely not use them. Mostly because I wont want to wipe them off and lose his handprints on them. I

I have the Craftsman version of the Harbor Freight one. After 6 years and 2 sets of casters (originals failed at the bearings) , it's on its way out. The hydraulic cylinder rises up on it's own after a few hours, and it's only a matter of time. I don't remember what I paid, but HF sells 'em...

I don't see that as a fair deal. To me, it should have been replaced with a comparable and like item. I would speak up and complain, above him if necessary. Complain to the area rep. Thats BS, and thats how tool trucks (and any business for that matter) loses clients.
