We use some jet hand tools as well as air tools in the Canadian Army as mechanics. Seems to be what they buy when they need tools near the end of the year when the budget is tight. The air tools aren't quite as powerful as the IR in my tool box.
I had a well used and abused set provided for me at work. I work with the Canadian Forces as a mechanic. I have been very hard on them and I have broken many bolts loose with the ratchet end even though I know I shouldn't. I have't managed to break any of them yet. They are gearwrench brand...
I work as a mechanic in the Canadian Forces and our tools are supplied to us. We get a lot of mismatched but fully functional tool sets. Most of my experience with westward has been a let down. Seems the open ends spread easily and the ratchets do not hold up to much abuse. I have gearwrench...
I frequently have been ordering fairly large orders through Babco Tools. I believe they are out of Surrey BC. They ship for free on orders over $150 as well. They seem to have a great selection and good sales on clearance from time to time.

Did you purchase that particular box in Stanley NB?
I am currently living in ON but my family has a hunting cabin not too far from Stanley. I noticed that box on Kijiji one night just on the hunt for that make of a box. I managed to find one in the GTA though one weekend I was down there...
You guys get awesome deals on snap-on down in the states. Retail on the site Canadian for this one is something ridiculous like $325. I may just check a few different torque values with it against a trusty old deflecting beam type to see if shes fairly accurate. I have no idea where I could...
Scored this off of the local Kijiji from a man that had no use for it. Said it was a gift from a friend that worked for Snap-on. I got it for $140 and it seems to have next to no use. How did I do?:dunno:
Very nice for a great price! I picked up my top and bottom separately and they have been used so they have a fair share of marks and dents! The lock on the bottom box needs a key or I need to fab up a bar to slide through the front clasp the previous owner made. I have $250 into them together...
Thank you! I have been trying to fill it with quality tools as I can afford it! Isn't that always the battle?
Thank you! I noticed the ad on the local Kijiji and I called the guy and drove an hour away just to snag it. I had to jam it into the back seat of my 2 door Honda civic as...
I am 21 and just starting out for building my tool collection. I am a mechanic in the CF and they supply tools and such at work. Most of my tools are from Canadian Tire. I picked up this older Beach top box on the local kijiji for $60! It still had the plastic wrap on the drawer pulls. I lined...
Not sure if they are the same style or not but I removed all the drawers out of my Canadian made Beach BCH92-612 with friction slides. I just used a fairly big set of zip ties slid into the slider and a good tug on the drawers and out they came. The first pic is the stock image of my tool box...
