I am installing the Maxline 3/4" in my garage. I bought a three filter setup on Amazon (see link below). I also bought a Parker 3/4" regulator. I'm going to do some painting, non-show projects. Where does the filter set up get installed and the regulator? I am thinking from my paint hose...
So this year I finally needed to use the jack I rebuilt last year. Of course with the transmission in the air, the jack creeps down. Only thing I can find is between the top nut on the tank, I see little air bubbles at the seam between the nut an tank (arrow). The seal in the nut to rod shows no...
I am currently closing in my ceiling in my pole barn garage. The area above my 4 post lift, I modified the necessary trusses and now have a "dog house" opening. The vertical sides are closed in and formed with Trim Coil. I want to insulate these vertical panels. I have R-30 for the horizontal...
I have a mid 90's enclosed trailer. I just installed new brake kits. However the adjuster holes are so close to the 90 degree at the drop, I cannot get a "spoon" in to adjust? I bought a "special" Dexter drop axle adjusting spoon but it cannot reach the star wheel nor have any swing. I can't get...
Is there an exploded view of the 100C anywhere? I just want to see what the BOM is should I need to rebuild/seal it. Also to get a better understanding of the torch.
Thanks,
Trying to understand the location of Flashback Arrestors. I saw a pair of Victor Arrestors online that appear to thread in between the hose ends and the torch. Is this the way to use them?
Thanks,
I've never had a torch set of my own and never justified getting any as I never had too many opportunities to use one. So today I picked up an older set of Victor stuff from a nearby elderly gentleman who had them posted in the local grocery store for sale board. $115 for what you see...
$250/day and he's a 90 minute drive. I figure I might need it over two days just because of travel and doing the labor. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, not a truss builder so I'd be taking my time not to screw things up. So it's a minimum of 6 hours travel in a day to try it all in a day. So...
Here is the type of press he rents. I just see it as a pain in the *** holding it up in the air when it comes to attaching to the existing truss.
Mitek Truss Plate Press video
I hired an engineer to engineer a truss solution in my garage. I need one truss modified so that I can raise my 4 post lift. The filed engineering drawings call for Mitek tie plates. The prong type. The engineer indicated to me that he has the proper press to press the plates for $250/day rent...
Some sort of critter dug out the stone and some dirt under my poured concrete floor. Once I'm sure it's dead or gone I'd like to fill it with zero void if possible. The opening is about 12" wide and 4" high. Probably a 3 gallon bucket full of stones and dirt have been dug out. What is the best...
I must have had air in the pump? Nothing was working so this morning I pulled the pump piston just to check and make sure I didn't ****** up any of the o-rings. Put it back it and all together and it works fantastic.
I appreciate your assistance. Picked up the jack for $75 on FB Marketplace and...
