    Which M12 3/8" ratchet ?

I prefer the non-Fuel versions for 1/4 & 3/8, but my 1/2” is a Fuel. The 3/8 sees the most use, but glad I’ve got them all.

    Oswego 289 1/2 Jaws

Picked up this Oswego Saturday at an auction for an old friend and mentor. I’d love to get it back in action but going to need some jaw inserts. 5-1/2” wide but the odd taper is gonna make this tough.

Where have you been all my life tools............

Cordless impact & ratchet, SK Roto-ratchet, Milton tire inflator, and Knipex Plier Wrench would be right up at the top. Cordless angle grinder, bandsaw and recip saw right up there too. I saw the Clamp-Tite tool mentioned earlier. Those will get you out of a bind when nothing else will work...

    Attachment organization for air compressor.

I just used a ratchet strap with one hook broken off, and an old pouch off a tool belt, strapped around my Quincy 60gal upright. Holds tire chucks, inflator, blow guns pressure gauges ect. Cheap, fast & easy

    Makita DMP181 Available?

Thanks guys! Our local TSC barely has any Makita inventory, let alone any clearance stuff. Looks like Amazon it is.

    Makita DMP181 Available?

I drive a lot of gravel every day, and have found my M12 inflator & tire plug kit to be a lifesaver. Problem is that the M12 is sloooow, and I’ve noticed performance has fallen off over the years. I’d like to go towards the Makita, and add my older Makita 1/2” impact and set of flip sockets to...

    Milwaukee m12 Cordless rotary tool

Never really wanted one, but found one in a pawnshop, with a 6,0 battery. They’d lost the charger for it and were desperate to get it sold. Gave $40 for it, just to get the battery….only thing I’ve used it for is to trim our dogs claws, but works great for that.

    Makita Cordless Recip Upgrade

My old BJR82 Makita cordless recip saw has been bulletproof, but takes the old style 18v batteries. Got a few left, but they’re getting weak, and this is the only LXT tool I have left that isn’t compatible with newer batteries. Is the XJR05 brushless model worth it to upgrade to? It gets used...

Tools you bought with no intention to use

Does buying tools for jobs you don’t want to have to do count? Sort of like warding off evil spirits by being prepared?

What happened to the M12 tire inflator?

I keep that m12 inflator, 6.0 battery, stick light with 2.0 battery & plug kit all in the bag it came with, in whatever vehicle I’m driving. Commute 80 miles daily, about 12 of which is gravel, and it’s saved my *** countless times.

    Holding Flashlight For Dad

Lots of good “hold the light” memories, but the best was being 6-7 years old, and checking cows one night. Found a Hereford heifer with first calf stuck half in/out and needed calf puller. Dad got her penned up and told me to sit in the pickup while him & uncle pulled the calf. Told me to rev...

    Makita Addiction Thread

Been wanting a Makita cordless chainsaw. stumbled across an XCU03 like new in a pawnshop few weeks back. $125 with 2 4.0 batteries. This thing will flat out EAT! Had kid time me cutting up a petrified 10” hedge post. Averaged 12 seconds on 4 cuts and batteries still show 100%. Thoroughly impressed!

What do you put behind the injected molded trays, like the thin ones from Snapon

What about good old fashioned plaster of Paris?

    Pawn Shop Code Crackers

Thanks guys! No illusions about buying anything from a pawn shop at break-even or loss to them. I priced this set new and I’m happy with what I gave. Btw...the locking swivel feature is really sweet. Didn’t know these existed until I saw this set.
