I drive a lot of gravel every day, and have found my M12 inflator & tire plug kit to be a lifesaver.
Problem is that the M12 is sloooow, and I’ve noticed performance has fallen off over the years.
I’d like to go towards the Makita, and add my older Makita 1/2” impact and set of flip sockets to my “flat tire kit” but it seems like this Makita inflator is unavailable everywhere I look.
Anyone have any insight?

Readily available on Amazon. I bought mine last year and while it's adequate, I wouldn't call it fast. At least not compared to plug-in compressors. It also doesn't have a trigger lock, so you have to keep the trigger pulled while you inflate.

Overall I'm happy with it, just have to keep your expectations reasonable. It is a portable battery-powered compressor, after all.

Check Tractor Supply. I bought 2 of them (Makita DMP181Z). They were on clearance for $24.99 each about 2 weeks ago. They were in the "locked" tool bin at the end of the tool isle.
