So I got a 24x24 shop. Started as a horse barn which it was for 12 years. But I built it with 12' ceilings. I have a 2 post lift on one side. More forward than I like so no work bench (it is on the other side) but I can fit full size pick up truck on the lift. It is tight and the welders...
Howdy,
I have one of these electric heaters - Profusion 5000w EH4604- had it for about 2 years and been working fine. Now it trips the breaker and can't figure out why. Opened the cabinet an nothing smells burned. the only other symptom is the fan turns slow-but does spin freely when off...
Big Fan blowing at the area where you are working. Flying insects can't stay around with a strong breeze . Been using this method for years before I had a shop also.
Howdy,
Thinking about getting this multi process welder. Does any one have one or have used one? Just wondering if it is crappy for mig but ok for tig or vise versa. Sometimes multi function equipment does all ok but none real good.
Thanks for all who reply.
All great suggestions. Big THANK YOU to all who replied. There is hope now!! I don't need an OEM winshield just a replacement so I can eventually drive this classic Japense car around...
Appreciate all replies. There is more detail. It is not registered. I found the car and bought it to restore. It is somewhat rare now (believe it or not it is in very good minimal rust ) condition. I have checked some traditional glass companies and they just laugh when I say 1986....
While I understand classic Japenese cars are not every one's cup of tea... I need to find a replacement winshield for my 86 Toyota Corolla (AE86) Once a very common vehicle, not not so much. Any suggestions? Thank You
Howdy, lots of tap and die sets out there. I need a good one metric only. Any suggestions besides Snap on? Also has any one used thread restoration tools? My main need is chasing / cleaning automotive threads.
Thank You
I have the Challenger SA10 . I had a huge I beam hanging down right above where one side of the lift upright had to be. The lower flexibility of this model allowed it to fit for me. I think you can use this model just for this reason. I could not find another brand that had this feature.
My experience: tried the youtube method of adding epsom salt and slow charging. Tried shorting briefly to clean off plates.... Even found some antique plastic bottles of VX6 and carefully installed it in my most important batteries. All this was done over several years on different batteries...
Really appreciate all the replies, especially the insights on what it would be like being a sales rep/truck driver.....I know every time I find a snap on truck and go ask for replacements for any of my broken stuff (DIY here not professional mechanic) the driver seems misrable. Wondering if it...
Hello, Saw an advertisement for Matco tool truck franchise. While thinking about it I realized I have never seen any Matco tools. Are they any good compared to Snap On? Appreciate all replies.
Thanks to all who replied. Very interesting comments and suggestions. I learned a lot. Appreciate it. Looks like my pal will have the wetlands flagged/located and go from there.
