First impression of ICON G2 ratchets

What is the verdict on adding a bit of Super Lube grease in the G2 ratchets? For some reason there was a trend of all the YouTube tools guys doing this on the Gen 1s.

    Screwdriver Decision Fatigue

What vessel style do you all prefer? Trying to decide if I want the regular megadora or the version with a striking cap or something else from them.

    Cleaning Hand Tools

I like to use Tub of towels on all my plastic/rubber tools. Works great on everything from ratchet/screwdriver handles to power tools. It does not leave the rubber sticky, like other more aggressive chemicals can be. For pliers, I like to wire brush them and then do a light wipe down with...

    Tools/machines that have become obsolete?

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think adjustable wrenches are becoming obsolete. I have a lot of very nice Bahco adjustable wrenches that I never use anymore after purchasing a couple Knipex Pliers Wrenches. I find being able to apply pressure while turning is a huge pro.

    Tekton small body ratchets

I think so, Snap On and Matco both make similar ratchets and on some you can just swap internals. Only thing I don’t like about the Tekton is how short the handle is. Wish they had a longer offering, but they probably kept them short to prevent a lot of warranty claims.

    Tekton small body ratchets

Just ordered the flex-head non-quick release ratchet. Should be here today. I can post pics if anyone is interested. I really like Tekton ratchets for the money, figured it may be useful for Subaru spark plugs. I have a Koken Small body ratchet that is a non flex head that works great as well.

NEW CAPRI EXTRA LONG COMFORT GRIP RATCHETS

Hard to argue with the fact that Snap On seems to be the only company producing multiple options of long handled ratchets. I also totally agree on the experience of using the Tekton, I do like the recessed nature of the selection on the Tekton, but I also have long skinny fingers, I could see...

NEW CAPRI EXTRA LONG COMFORT GRIP RATCHETS

I purchased the shorter 1/4 drive comfort grip and I like it more than my Tekton ratchets. I’ve always told friends/family, to spend the money and just get snap-on ratchets because they are worth the money, but these new Capri ratchets are changing my mind. For less than one snap-on you can get...
