    "Pre-Block" Grinders--Where's the Love?

I personally wouldn't ship it as I worry about shipping damage and scamming customers. Can't control either.

Early Vintage Craftsman Bench Grinder (pre-block & tombstone)

Just saw this thread doing a google search. I too have a thing for Craftsman block grinders and have 4 in use at my shops and have sold quite a few. I have never seen the early grinder you have and I have been going to auctions to buy tools to resell for about 20 years and always pay attention...

    Vulcan tools

Holy thread bump🤣 about 17 years Welcome Donald to rhe forum and thanks for the info. I knew there was a Williams connection, didn't realize it was a division. I still have a soft spot for Vulcan to some degree though they all get aorice tag put on them. I have trouble putting a rag on...

Let’s talk pressure washers in 2025

Don't sweat your previous unloader adjusting. Doubt you hurt anything. I didn't see a parts breakdown so I am guessing about the nuts you are referring to on the unloader stem. They are limiting nuts designed to keep you from over adjusting the unloader to too high a spike. I almost never...

Primary function of the unloader is to set the spike pressure. That is the pressure used to send the unloader into bypass. You can certainly wind the unloader out to change working pressure, and you can also over adjust the spike pressure and put unnecessary strain on the entire system...

New answers :ROFLMAO: 1.Don't separate the valves into pieces, no benefit. To check the valves a bit closer, I set the valves in the vise with the plastic *** down. Put water on top of the poppets up to the top of the valve seat and walk away, The water should remain in the valve. If it leaks...

Ok, very common for valves to stick shut if the pump has sat for a while. Have seen it on new pumps that have set on the shelf before being used. Normally, you can pull them out, unstick them, and the pump will work fine. Not common to have the build up you do but the pump has sat for years...

Let’s talk pressure washers in 2025

I did see this thread and read a few posts. Given the OP's budget, I have no knowledge of the consumer side of the market. IMO, if you want a gas engine machine, I would recommend no less than a Honda GX as far as engine (buy the HP you can afford) and coupled to either a Cat direct drive...

I have had good luck with Triumph Thunder bits. I have seen them branded Snap-on for twice the money.
