I run T5HO in a commercial high bay fixture with zero degree electronic ballasts. I love them. My bulbs are 4300K range and I have 10.5 foot ceilings. Plenty of white crisp light that provides outstanding dispersion. I highly recommend the T5's. I flushed mounted them without any issues.

Make sure you also take into account future growth needs. Double whatever you come up with, you can never have too much power.

Great idea Dilley - hey, just a heads-up....your springs above your garage door may need a little WD-40 soak. I do mine at the beginning of each season ever since one went loose on me while I was IN the garage - like a grenade going off!

I applied Epoxy Shield in my garage about 7 years ago and have had great success. There is an area, approx 5x5 section however, that did not adhere well (my fault during the application). I have a 3 car garage, 800 sq ft, and wish to apply another coat of the Epoxy Shield in the 2 car area...
