What did you base your purchase on

Is there a way to determine if the surface is too smooth. I’d like to not have to grind. Floor has never had anything on it in the way of cars or equipment. It’s “virgin” concrete.

What did you base your purchase on

With the various options available thru the vendors here how did you base your decision. I’ve been reading for weeks on what to use and who and am no closer to making a decision. 1500sq ft New concrete poured back in July. Power troweled. Never had anything On it. Looking for grey with...

Graded my area for new shop today

My buddy doing the grade work told the curious neighbors he was building me a helicopter pad since I’m a pilot. Lol can’t wait for that to get around.

Graded my area for new shop today

Took out a tree and knocked down existing 70 year old block bldg to make way for my 30x50 garage. After looking at the area I hope I’m not too big. I know that’s never the case. The fun begins.

Room needed to turn into garage

I’m in the planning stages and wanted to know is there a general rule of thumb for amount of room needed to turn into and back out of garage. I have a cobra, a 66 mustang and a Tahoe. I can set the slab back off the current asphalt area pretty much any amount I need. I don’t want to have to...

    Moving a Rotary SPOA9 lift

Yeah that’s about it. I assembled two in my shop and have removed a few. Be sure to remember where cables came from as some are different lengths.

Nailing down a size to build

Should have mentioned my brother is the contractor and we will be doing a lot of the work ourselves. That should keep costs way down. I’ll only be paying for slab and grade work. The rest will be us and his crew.

Nailing down a size to build

I doubt I’d do much at home work wise. Any major repairs would be done at my shop. Just minor tinkering.

Nailing down a size to build

I’ve got a 6 bay repair facility that is 30x100. This is my place of business and I’ve kept my 2 cars there for years and it’s very inconvenient being across town so I’ve decided to build at my house. I’m thinking 36x30 and maybe bigger. I think this will suit my needs. I plan on keeping the...

    New Memebr Here

I’ve lurked for a while and love the ideas people have here. Finally getting around to building my personal space. Had to finish a upstairs Reno for the wife first. I’ll have many questions so be gentle. Thanks
