Oscillating Multi Tools - Worth Owning?

I bought a cheap one a few years ago to trim the bottom of the moulding's when I put a new floor down. It was a fantastic tool for the job. I have since used it more than I ever thought I would. If it ever dies I will get a good one to replace it. Once it is in your hand and you see all of what...

    Welding Jackets and Blankets

When I started school I bought one of the green jackets, it lasted almost a semester. I then bought the Lincoln Shadow split leather jackets. I have had it now for 3 years. It is getting ratty where the grinder gets it but the sleeves are still good. I like the black as it does not reflect light...

    Drip Edge 2

Why would you not use it?? It keeps water out of places it shouldn't be. It is easy and fast to install. It is cheap. It looks better. I will say I prefer the aluminum over the steel as it is much easier to work with.

    Things to know in welding?

What kind of a welder do you own? What do you want to weld? By all means take a class or two at CC. If you plan on doing much GTAW a class will help you immensely. Ask lots of questions and use all the time in the booth they will allow. All of the classes I took we were taught most of the...

    Learning TIG Welding

**** joints can be a hard joint to master. To get full penetration you need a root gap, how big depends an the thickness of your base metal (unless the base metal is very thin). In class they had us do puddles then beads. Then move to horizontal tee joints then lapps then horizontal open root...
