    Best miter saw stand

Friend of mine that does high end finish carpentry and hardwood trim loves his Bora porta cube cart for his miter saw, especially how well it work back in the shop. He still has a makita miter saw and stand if he does a lot up stairs on a job because the bora and Bosch glide is not something...

The term wire rope is used commonly in heavy equipment such as dozer winches, cranes, and bridles. With over head bridge cranes, wire rope does the lifting, cable sends the signals from the pendant to control the crane.

Protective shield for AC line set

The easiest is probably going to be Airex covers and might be enough for what you want. https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.supplyhouse.com/product_files/Airex-72E-B-Brochure.pdf https://www.supplyhouse.com/Airex-Line-Set-Covers-33960000 More expensive but substantial...

    Discrete device generator lockout/disconnect.

Right now they just use an extension cord and unplug/plug in what they need at that moment so it wouldn't be much different? I doubt that their portable generator would run multiple things as once anywho. Its an old farm house, for all I know its a fuse panel still? She called me as someone...

Help me get this bandsaw running

You say the red is the ground at the plug, and then it appears at the box that red goes to one of the fuse inputs? The fuses on 3 phase are all hot, L1, L2, and L3. And for the love of god, please use the correct SOOW cable instead of BX/MX or whatever that its as a cord to the plug.

    Discrete device generator lockout/disconnect.

I guess color coding would be fine as well. I didn't look at the old farm houses panel if an interlock was even possible. I sort of described how it worked and you could tell she didn't understand. I was more just trying to find her less expensive options to talk to an electrician. Options...

    Discrete device generator lockout/disconnect.

Damn, I was searching with the wrong terms. That is what I was looking for and even handles the plug in a way that is better than I envisioned. Thank you I am very familiar with interlocks, they still require significant time and at least some intelligence of home electricity to shed the...

    Discrete device generator lockout/disconnect.

Does anyone make a discrete generator lockout/disconnect box? If you loose power you can plug a portable generator into the box or next to the AC disconnect box and run a mini split and the switched disconnect will only accept power from the generator if its disconnected from the mains breaker...

We had one hourly employee, out of over a 1000 in the plant, that received a superior (5) from his supervisor years ago. He absolutely deserved it (as did some others) and the shop foreman came and took it back (changed it to a 4) because "only if you walk on water and perform miracles" does...

Forget DIY. Its amazing how many professional mechanics will have a plethora of prybars, big to micro and all kinds interesting shapes at the foot in his tool box and will still be using a flat blade screwdriver to pry with. Saw it repeatedly over the 20 years as a mech

I get the mistake, I am sure if I wasn't so perfect at the start I would have made mistakes as well, but wouldn't of told anyone about the mistake. /s I probably wouldn't have mentioned it except for the fact that you keep insisting that its the manufactures fault just as many of those who...

Broke my brand new tubing cutter

I hate having to upgrade tools because of quality/material being cheepend right off the bat. I bought an osborn EB3 several years ago. The osborne was terrible out of the box, had to machine a new pivot piece as they had moved production to china and the threaded hole that bolted to the bar...
