OK thanks. Didn't know if I needed dead air between foam and wood.

I was trying to avoid framing it out. I dont want to add any more insulation at this time. I just didn't know if I had to leave some space between the USB and foam board. If I had to frame it, could I put the 2x4's flat against the wall (24" OC) or would they have to be on edge?
