thanks! yea i plan to run a stripe down the middle of the wall. it's a 1992 s10 w/ LT1/T56. still not done w/ that swap but it's coming along. it really is much brighter, but i plan to add more lighting. my goal w/ the garage is to make it as bright as possible because i've always found...

i'm about to finally tackle this project, do i need to prime this type of paneling before paint?

sometime in the future i'm going to be doing a full garage revamp. currently my garage walls are finished in 70s wood paneling; i'm sure it has a real name. does anyone have any ideas of what to do with it to update it a bit? any pics of what you did? i don't want to remove it as $ is tight...
