i've been doing some work to my 21X20 garage this past week. still more to do but the big jobs are done.

thanks to all who gave me insights on what to do w/ my 70s era wood paneled walls: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70276

2 coats of primer and 2 coats of gloss white.

two fold up tables and a 3X2 spray paint can cabinet.

storage rack for my race wheels.

and of course VCT. it laid down pretty easily once i got the hang of it. i'll need to get some quarter round since my garage is shaped more like a parallelogram than a perfect square.

still need to do some more painting but it's coming along slowly but surely. i'm going to paint a black/red stripe around the midpoint of the wall to break up all of the white. right now i'm painting all of my cabinets black/red to match the walls and my toolbox. more to come.

thanks! yea i plan to run a stripe down the middle of the wall. it's a 1992 s10 w/ LT1/T56. still not done w/ that swap but it's coming along.

It looks nice. It must be a lot brighter too.

it really is much brighter, but i plan to add more lighting. my goal w/ the garage is to make it as bright as possible because i've always found that acheiving a perfect wax job is much easier in a garage with bright fluorescent lighting.

Blank canvas ! Awesome !

thank you! more to come.

Wow, that's gonna be one fun truck when it's all back together. I'm getting ready to install a 3.4 in mine. Not a huge jump in power like your LT1 but it'll sure wake it up and requires virtually no fabrication to swap. I guess i'm just being lazy haha.

Now that you're getting your garage in shape, it'll be much more pleasant to wrench in there and not have to stumble around clutter. Good luck with it, your thread and others are giving me the bug to get back out to mine and finish it up!

i've done some beautification to the garage lately. unfortunately, i've accrued more ****. i need to ditch the brown couch that i started storing just yesterday (wifey bought a sectional).

after waiting 4 months, a deal on some used kitchen cabinets presented itself. i love craigslist.

i still have some painting to do...

i gave my metal cabinets the same red/black treatment:

i decided not to paint above the garage door. i kinda want to remind myself of how ugly the paneling was before.

my wheel art. i'm a forged wheel *****.
