    I did, I used the Skilsaw brand lubricant meant for worm drive. Im thinking more and more that when I dissasembled the unit last that i dented one of the sealed bearings. Finding the exact ones i need to replace is tough! If anyone is reading this in the future, Im most likely going to order...

    Hi, i have a skilsaw 825 i finally got back together, yet after releasing the trigger the saw comes to a quick stop and it sounds almost metallic in its grinding. Possibly bearings? I dont see the saw blade rubbing. Its just a regular Skilsaw 825 8-1/4 inch saw. I wish there were diagrams...

    Yeah i know. Either way, i figured out where the two pieces I mentioned went. larger ring went inside the saw. felt seal went in the drive shaft area.
