Thanks for the information. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough but I hadn’t seen anything mentioned anywhere. I wasn’t sure how warm it would get under the tiles. Spray foam under the slab and all the exterior walls so it should be well insulated. Thanks for the help guy’s!

Real new to the forum, lots of great ideas on here. I started looking at the plastic floor tiles like Racedeck for a new shop that I’m putting up. I tried the search function but didn’t see anything about using it with in floor radiant heat. Has anybody had any experience with it? Wondered...

LOL. I agree 100%. Want a little of both. I can still have the big screen TV and the beer fridge, maybe even a couple of recliners, and not have to worry about spilling a little oil on the floor.

Thanks for the welcome. I was looking at the different flooring ideas. mygarageone has a great looking man cave. Haven’t decided what I want for flooring, or if I will just leave it concrete. I have a mini mill and do some machining and welding so the carpet squares wouldn’t work very good...

New guy from Iowa. Putting up a 40’x60’ shop with 14’ ceiling. Looking for ideas on finishing off the man cave part. That’s how I came across this forum. Looks like some great information on here. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year.
