New guy from Iowa. Putting up a 40’x60’ shop with 14’ ceiling. Looking for ideas on finishing off the man cave part. That’s how I came across this forum. Looks like some great information on here. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year.
Welcome from Idaho! Take a look at this thread in the flooring section. GJ member 'mygarageone' has what I think is the best looking cave I've ever seen.
Well , after considering every flooring option out there , I choose carpets tiles . For many reasons. * easy to install * cost per square ft * ease of replacement * ease of cleaning * comfort level * Recyled Materials. Shredded plastic bottles . * Color selection This stuff is rated commercial...
Thanks for the welcome. I was looking at the different flooring ideas. mygarageone has a great looking man cave. Haven’t decided what I want for flooring, or if I will just leave it concrete. I have a mini mill and do some machining and welding so the carpet squares wouldn’t work very good. Don’t want to have to worry about oil spills either, want to be able to work on the bike and the lawnmower in there also. Lots of choices, sometimes too many.
LOL. I agree 100%. Want a little of both. I can still have the big screen TV and the beer fridge, maybe even a couple of recliners, and not have to worry about spilling a little oil on the floor.
