I would think a 1/2" from Harbor Freight would be fine if you just want it for lug nuts, etc. I wouldn't use it for a cylinder head job or anything...but I do use mine for lugs. Haven't had a wheel fall off yet... :shocking:

Harbor Freight has a 25% off coupon for Easter Sunday. 4/16/17. Would make the jack ~$150. Even with the 20% off they have all the time it's cheaper than Northern Tool.

Try reversing those bolts and see if you gain any clearance.

Not sure about the mill specifically going on sale but the best coupon I have ever personally seen is 25%. Only happens a handful of times a year. 20% at least every month. Never seen 30%.

I have quite a few Pittsburgh tools, I just look for the ones made in Taiwan. They seem to be higher quality.
