Is this a dumb question or what? I've just never done this before and I'm trying to get info from people that have done this before. I'd hate to waste all that money on the epoxy.

Another question about epoxy floor coatings. If you follow the instructions and do a 10x10 section at a time, do you need a new bucket for each section or is it ok to just mix the next batch in the same bucket?

How many times did you guys have to etch your concrete till you got it to the texture recommended. Third time and I'm still not there. ARRRRGGHHHHH!

I got my acid from Lowe's. A gallon jug was about $7 I think. 32oz per gallon seems do give a good fizzle and bubbles and smoke. All that being said etched it for a third time today and still doesn't seem to be between 80 and 120 grit sand paper. I really getting annoyed w/ this project.

I used what came w/ the kit, muriatic acid and prep solution. I also went out and bought another gallon of muriatic acid for my second acid etching. Followed instructions word for word. You think I need to keep etching till it gets to that roughness?

Does a full kit of Epoxy-Coat actually cover 500 sq. ft. or is it a little less or a little more. My garage is really more like 574 sq. ft. and I don't really want to have to buy a half kit.
